I just did a quick search on Elite Shungite. People are selling fake Elite Shungite out there, be careful. and there seems to be people passing off whatever it is, I don’t know what it is, as Elite Shungite. Look at the pictures below. These are not Elite Shungite and you cannot shape it like this.
It absolutely astounds me how sales platforms allow this. A quick google search and found these in 2 minutes.

- Pendant. Shungite does not have terminations or double terminations. It is not a crystal so it does not grow like a crystal. Shungite can be shaped to looked like a double termination, but be upfront and call it what it is (like I am). Also since when does Elite Shungite look like that. Double fake.
- Donut. Simply is not Elite Shungite. Not the correct colour and it cannot be turned into a donut shape. Call it what it is, a Shungite Donut and don’t try and sell for double what it is worth.
- Beads. Well what can I can say about this. Even the reviews say it is fake by the buyers but it is still up for sale. Shame Etsy. You should be monitoring this more closely to protect your brand. Again, this is entirely fake, you can not get Elite Shungite in a bead. It is probably Hematite. Shame Etsy and Shame on the seller!
- Elite Shungite Sphere. What! How can they away with it. This is the wrong colour as well as it being shaped and polished which you cannot do with Elite Shungite.
- Necklace. This takes the biscuit. Are you kidding me! No this is not Elite Shungite, it is not even Shungite. Buy at your own peril.
