Quartz and Pyrite are two distinct minerals that can sometimes be found together, and they can have a powerful combination when used in crystal healing.

Quartz

Specifically Clear Quartz, is known as a self-cleansing crystal for purifying negative vibrations. It opens the Crown, Soul Star, and Stellar Gateway Chakras, activating psychic powers of intuition, premonitions, and spirit contact.

Pyrite

Also known as Fool’s Gold, is a powerful stone that symbolises success, wealth, and prosperity. It shields the wearer against negativity and encourages positive change. Pyrite has a longstanding history as a wealth magnet, protection amulet, and divination tool.

When combined, Quartz and Pyrite can lead to deeper awakening, grounding, and healing. On surfaces exposed to the effects of weather, pyrite minerals rust out under the influence of water and oxygen, and the iron stains the quartz, sometimes leaving voids or a porous structure where the pyrites were originally placed.
